Land Rover Series 2A, Has a series 2 style front.
The land rover was purchased over 2 years back a rolling chassis with body. This was my first car at 17, i had been driving it on the road for a year, ive rebuilt it from a rolling chassis up with the help of my family.
Over £4000 has been spent in total.
Tax exempt Historic vehicle, 1969 registration.
Interior and Body.
The body and bulkhead have no corrosion.
Paint work could do with touching up, otherwise in good order.
Chassis is in good shape but does have a couple of patches, nothing drastic. The chassis would benefit from waxoil or painting.
The dashboard was made by myself from aluminum sheet, the original will be supplied along with the other dash panels if you desire to restore.
Has a Smith's Heater fitted, had a recondition matrix fitted which cost £150 to be done.
Has a pair of Britpart deluxe front seats along with seat belts and two rear bench seats.
All around the bulkhead and floor in the front has been sound deadened and carpeted.
LED work light fitted.
The wheels are 8 spokes which was powder coated in matt anthracite.
General Mechanics.
Fitted with a ex MOD reconditioned by ABRO 2.5L engine out of a ex MOD defender 90, the original 2.3L diesel engine is available for an extra cost, it was removed at the start of 2015 due to badly smoking which has been put down to scoring in the cylinders and would require a full rebuild.
Gearbox was recently rebuilt with new genuine bearings and other parts costing over £80.
Fitted with overdrive.
Front Axle has Selectro Free wheeling hubs fitted.
New rear parabolic springs fitted costing £160 and new bushes fitted to front parabolic's was fitted last month to pass MOT.
Had a brand new Auto Sparks wiring loom when rebuilt.
The buyer would only need to tax and insure it to drive away.
