1982 LAND ROVER SERIES 3 109 Ex-military
Sellers Comments - Purchased from John Brown Landrovers about 5 years ago and used every year for about 200/300 miles with the kids and bikes and dog walks etc. Ran out of MOT last year and failed only on Brakes. Selling as an easy project as I do not have the time to devote to the old girl. Chassis and Bulkhead sound although underneath could do with a clean and re-waxoil. Needs new door tops ideally and a new battery and the brakes sorting and a general tidy up as she has stood for 6 months under the trees. Other than that she starts and drives well. Never let me down when we were using her. Will need trailering away. Cash on Collection from Cornwall Please.
Land Rover Lightweight SIII - 1974
Sellers Comments - For sale, my Land Rover Lightweight Series III. I've owned it for 20 years. The actual vehicle was built in January 1974 (I recently got a Heritage Certificate as proof) and demobbed from the army in 1983. The owner at that time give it the look it has now although I added forward-facing rear seats and a Lightweight grille. It has twin tanks and a Kenlowe fan. I have MOTs going back to the very first one in 1983 so you can check mileage. I also have receipts for jobs/service going back to 1994. I haven't used the vehicle for aggressive off-roading, just the occasional poodling around gentle runs on off-road courses at various Land Rover shows. The reason why I'm selling is that I'm simply not using it enough and it needs to go to somebody who will. It passed its MOT a couple of weeks ago with an advisory for a slight leak on nearside rear hub seal. It could do with a decent service and some TLC. Please bear in mind this a 42-year-old Land Rover! Vehicle is in Clapham, SW London.

Land Rover Series 2a LPG 1968G
Sellers Comments - My Series 2a, reluctant sale but need some cash to replace my daily car. (Its not a Jeep and its not a Truck, its a Land Rover) :) 1968 historic vehicle, 3.5 V8 engine with LPG conversion, filler on nearside as photo, 80litre tank. NO ROAD TAX!! (my insurance fully comp with Carol Nash £150) Front end is newer style due apparently an MOD conversion, room for engine and rad etc. Runs well on both Petrol and gas... apart from new plugs, leads and coil i never touched the timing or mixture... if it runs well don't mess. It is pictured with 5x road wheels and tires which consist of 3x Good year wranglers and 2x Pirelli scorpion S/T. Also will come with 5x off road/winter wheels and tires 4x Insa Turbos and 1x Pirelli scorpion Mud for a spare. The off road tires are bigger and will give more ground clearance. Rear is boxed to cover LPG tank with access lid and storage. Fitted with overdrive. Chassis is Solid. I have had the rear tub chequer plated for cosmetic, tub is in good nic. Has an internal roll cage welded to chassis with 2x extra cross members for support. Towbar with detachable drop plate. High Lift Jack, essential if you ever have a flat tyre. Cubby box fitted. CB Radio Fitted. Snorkel Fitted and breather pipes from axle. Servo assisted brakes, electric fuel pump. Exhaust sounds Lovely. Also a couple of spare bits in garage which will go with it, new wipers, spare coil, spare stat, spare vaporizer, spare leads too somewhere in garage...plus more. Past previous MOT with no issues. Sellers Comments - Landrover Series 1 1955 diesel. Starts drives and stops. Sold as a project. 2 previous owners . I have full v5,mot and tax exempt.86 inch everything works as it should.Needs work chassis needs front dum irons and a front outrigger. Bulkhead needs work to foot wells. Engine runs fine as is gearbox. Brakes we'll need work. Ideal project for someone with a bit of time. These Land Rover are getting rare and are,only going up in value.A great investment.

  This is my Marshall Landrover for sale She is registered in 1971 and is a 2 1/4 petrol series 2a . MOT runs until March 2017 . I have taken the rear heater out so that my MT350 will fit in the back but still have all the parts so it can be put back as was . The rear window is cracked and there is an oil leak on the rear N/S wheel hub. She has 12,000 on the clock a new front crossmember , inner wings , foot well passenger side . She has taken over a year of my time to get her back to this condition . I have lots of photos of the repairs that I can supply . There are the four stretchers and stretcher covers on the roof . I have only used her as a show vehicle and to raise funds for Military charities . Land Rover Series 1 (107" truck)

Here we have my 1955 Series 1 Land Rover 107"
MOT expiry shown, but it is MOT Exempt!
I bought the vehicle 3 years ago, as a pastime for my imminent retirement.
Retired last year, but now back at work!
Enough of that, so here's a description:
1955 Land Rover 107" truck
RAF Blue
Should have a petrol engine, but a previous owner installed a 2.5 litre turbo diesel
The engine is what I believe is called a 19j. Early Disco?
I am told that the reg. no. is "age related", the original transferred to another vehicle
I have evidence that the original number was OWW 705
I have no idea of the mileage, as the odometer does not work
Chassis is sound, and possibly a replacement for the original, but I am no expert
The only instrument that works is the speedo
Full tilt by Exmoor Trim, in contrasting blue
Sticks are not a genuine set, but are perfectly useable
I believe that the bloke I bought the vehicle from mixed the sticks with his 80" Series 1
Seats are in very good order, and obviously a replacement for the originals
When I bought it, there were 12 seats, 3 up front and 9 in the tub (see photos)
I have only used it as a truck, so the 9 in the tub were removed, but are included
Tyres are in very good order (see photos)
Last three photos were from the bloke who sold me the vehicle
These show the possible seating configuration, engine and underside
The V5 states "Date of first registration" as 01.10.1998
At section 8 it states "Decl/d manuf 1955"
I translate this as "declared manufactured 1955"
The VIN plate is present, though not attached to the Land Rover, giving the manufacturer's serial number
Land Rover Series 3 Safari Edition
Sellers Comments - Offered for sale is my Land Rover Series III. It has been a great companion this summer but sadly I do not have both the time to give it the attention it should have, or winter parking for it. I would much rather it be used by someone who can give it the time and appreciation it deserves.
It is rather special as it features a full safari roof rack with safari vents underneath and a ladder to get up onto the top. It also has windows in the back, which means is gives great vision when driving, and if anyone wanted to put seats into the back it would give a better view to the passengers. I have also fitted a custom made cubby-box in between the front seats, which is very useful to keep bits and bobs that would normally roll around the dashboard! The middle seat in included in the sale however, just in case you prefer it with three seats in the front.
Whilst I have owned it, I have fitted a new battery (with a 3 year guarantee), upgraded the headlights to halogen, fitted a new rear view mirror, a new windscreen washer motor. The Land Rover also benefits from a Fairey overdrive to give you a bit of a boost, and free wheeling hubs on the front axle. It has been oiled and greased every week by myself, with a full oil change every 6 months.
The Land Rover also comes with a box of spares including seals and headlights, and a full folder of receipts and invoices. It is Tax exempt next year, which would save a great amount of money, and I insure it using Classic Car insurance which, even though I'm only 23, is a third of my 'modern' car insurance.
It has MOT until March 2017 with NO advisories given on the previous inspection, and drives very well. I'm not going to claim it is the fastest thing in the world, but it gets you from A to B and you have an enormous amount of fun with it.
