The Land Rover Defender is an off-road vehicle produced under this name by the British manufacturer, Land Rover, since 1991. However, the vehicle is the direct heir of the first Land Rover that made its debut in 1948. The first prototype was built by the British automaker in 1947 and it was designed for the army. This iconic car was improved over the years and it has been known for generations as a national treasure.

Sellers Comments -
We have to offer this stunningly individual Defender 90. Originally silver before coming to life in July 2019 when it was restored to LR paint code 1CB; most commonly known as 'SVR Estoril Blue'. The then owner, Mr Wade, commissioned BPA Cornwall to cosmetically transform this Landy into the charmer seen today. Their labour & paint bill totalled £7261 alone. Once complete, it was given to Roger Young Land Rover Main Dealer for servicing and inspection which consequently resulted in a replacement turbocharger; the bill for which totalled £1380. Various other finishing items were finally installed including a £567 JW Sound System, Black Steel DRL bumper, Sports Bonnet Vents, Rear Crossmember, Black gloss wheel nuts, Complete exhaust system and £2740 Corbeaus Front & Rear leather seats before being enjoyed for 2 years in private ownership. In March 2021, it was part exchanged directly into us for a Porsche 911 GT3. Since this time, it has undergone a further £1612 cosmetic and mechanical refresh in prep for sale which has included an MOT, Full Service, Both Axle Swivel overhauls, all brake hoses replaced, all brake discs replaced, all brake pads replaced, both track rod ends replaced, and all Diff seals replaced.
This 90 is supplied with comprehensive documentation and photographs from its restoration, a good service history record including 10 stamps, previous MOT test certificates and a catalogue of parts invoices which makes for a great read. Offered with its most recent V5 Document, 2 keys as well as a fresh 12-month MOT issued in March 2021, this is a fine example of a timeless icon.
