The Land Rover Defender is an off-road vehicle produced under this name by the British manufacturer, Land Rover, since 1991. However, the vehicle is the direct heir of the first Land Rover that made its debut in 1948. The first prototype was built by the British automaker in 1947 and it was designed for the army. This iconic car was improved over the years and it has been known for generations as a national treasure.

Land Rover Defender 110 300tdi 93000 miles Massive spec. Ex Royal Marines, everything in excellent condition
Originally supplied to the Royal Marines in 1991 as Fitted for Radio, winterised, with a 2.5 NA diesel. I purchased in 2001 with 30000klm, about 19000 miles.
Rebuilt in 2002 with side windows, power steering, very very low mileage 300tdi and R380, new seats, new speedo with MPH and zero miles. Now reads just under 74000, so about 93000 in total
Large Allisport intercooler fitted along with Allisport LPG injection system. (More mpg, cleaner exhaust)
2002-2015, many new panels, inc roof, offside f wing, bonnet, rear door, front doors (latest type, galvanised steel). Stainless exhaust fitted. Unused between 2012 and 2015, locked in my workshop pending refit.
2015 substantially rebuilt again, with new Salisbury back axle, new brakes all round inc calipers, discs, (V and G up front) new Exmoor trim seats with heaters (not wired up yet, but everything is there.) New suspension, inc Hd springs on the rear, adjustable HD trailing arms, Gas filled shox. New latest style roof with fibreglass headlining inc speakers and radio, rear view camera, HDI spots, roof spot bar (new LED light bar included). 5Alloy wheels with Cooper A/T 3 tyres.
In the last 3 years, new radiator and water pump, clutch, propshafts, towbar and hitch, slickshift gear selector, auxiliary diesel heater, new battery fitted last week.
immobiliser and other security measures inc explosive 8 inch spike which rams up through the drivers seat base in the event of attempted theft (Ok I made that last one up)
comes with spare fuel lift pump, vacuum pump, filters, HD Steering arms inc track rod ends and ball joints, and new stub axle, hub and bearings. Not fitted. The paint is Nato Green, with Nato Green raptor up to the swage line.
the chassis, bulkhead and rear crossmember are excellent, having all been waxoyled or dinitrolled every couple of years. The bottom of the vehicle has been pressure washed every week during winter times.
