One for Land Rover enthusiasts!
Shows all the signs of its age, from the rear passenger doors having rusty frames at the bottom and ally corrosion on the door skin (been like this a long time but still usable) front door skins with ally corrosion on the door skins, rear door cracked where the spare wheel used to hang (spare wheel now fixed on a hinged frame) door seals corroded but still solid, bulkhead rusted on the outside front (as pictures show) leaks rain water through the door seal when raining hard, wiper blades slow although always passes mot, door key only works on the drivers door, rear door does not lock, viewing would be highly recommended before bidding, last serviced and mot’d on 31/6/2017 and since had a new battery, has good tyres and spare, has 207000 miles on the clock though the engine is still strong and reliable.
It’s been used by myself solely as a play toy and always puts a smile on my face when I drive it but if you have not driven old land rovers it’s best to come and have a test drive first as they are not for everyone!
The Land Rover Defender is an off-road vehicle produced under this name by the British manufacturer, Land Rover, since 1991. However, the vehicle is the direct heir of the first Land Rover that made its debut in 1948. The first prototype was built by the British automaker in 1947 and it was designed for the army. This iconic car was improved over the years and it has been known for generations as a national treasure.
