Defender 90 challenge truck - only been off roaded few times
I have slowly built this over the last 5 years, however a change in circumstances means I'm afraid I don't get time any more.
Came to me as a 90 hard top non runner
Installed:
3.9ltr V8 and auto box out of K plate discovery with 100k on the clock
North off road roll cage
Terrafirma med duty suspension (not been off road with this on)
2x Huskys with bow motors and plasma (were new when fitted) prob only used hand full of times
New Exmoor tirm seats
Sports exhaust
Galv Tree sliders
Dan bar steering rods
Twin alternators (one needs a belt)
Goodrich MTs
False floor fitted in rear at wheel box height, giving storage under the lids.
Twin lead acid batteries
Pneumatic rams to operate centre diff - could be easily put back if you wanted
Centre console with all controls
Disco 2 rear axle so disc brakes on rear
Rear winch tray and cross member and front winch bumper have been purpose built for vehicle
I got this MOTed in May, there are a couple of advisories, but nothing serious. However it is not taxed, so that is required.
Generally the truck needs tidying up and finishing off before you could take it out, I just do not have the time, but it runs well, and would make a great truck for someone.
There has been some welding on the chassis and a new outrigger, but got through MOT fine, so is all sound.
We converted from hard top to pickup about a year ago to use for shooting, hard top inc in sale if required, but rear door was rusty so that has gone.
Comes with the aluminium to finish off the back and box of spares etc
Overall I should think about £8k has gone into the truck
