The Land Rover Defender is an off-road vehicle produced under this name by the British manufacturer, Land Rover, since 1991. However, the vehicle is the direct heir of the first Land Rover that made its debut in 1948. The first prototype was built by the British automaker in 1947 and it was designed for the army. This iconic car was improved over the years and it has been known for generations as a national treasure.

1971 Land Rover Series 3 Tax Exempt - 200TDI Engine Fairy Overdrive For Sale £6500 - ONO
With a 200TDI Engine fitted pre 2000, engine and gearbox are in good condition, fairy overdrive, freewheeling hubs. Fitted with a set 265/75R16 bfgoodrich all terrain tyres with plenty of tread left, no puncture repairs. The Canvas top is exmoor trim, also included is a black all-wheel trim bikini top for the summer and the original white hard top. (Although has had part of the paint stripped off for painting blue.) Fitted with an alpine snatch plate stereo and alpine speakers. New door tops.
