The Land Rover Defender is an off-road vehicle produced under this name by the British manufacturer, Land Rover, since 1991. However, the vehicle is the direct heir of the first Land Rover that made its debut in 1948. The first prototype was built by the British automaker in 1947 and it was designed for the army. This iconic car was improved over the years and it has been known for generations as a national treasure.

1978 SERIES 3 SWB LAND ROVER PETROL
Sellers Comments Good chassis and bulkhead. New tyres. We have done a lot of work on the interior as is shown on photos. New road springs. New clutch master cylinder and radiator Good paint work. Good gearbox, no louder than you would expect. Overdrive and four wheel drive work as normal. Brakes good. Nearly new exhaust. The last owner, plus myself, have kept a full service history and record of all parts bought and fitted dating to 1999. Also been kept undercover. It has passed the last two M.O.T. tests with no advisories. This vehicle is tax exempt after Dec next year. I am reluctantly selling my Land Rover due to ill health.

Land Rover Defender 110 Special Build.
Sellers Comments 2001 Land Rover Defender Ex-AA Special Build. Main features: Twin batteries. Snorkel. Winch and remote control. Flood lights and rear work light. Orange flashing LED beacons. Anderson power socket and jump cables. 2 inch lift. Heavy duty patriot roof rack with rear ladder. Kumho tires. Upgraded seats in front (part leather) and back has Puma seats. 300tdi engine professionally installed. New clutch. Resurfaced flywheel. Waxoyling treatment on the underside. Exmoor trim folding seats in the boot. Brand new down pipe fitted in Feb 2017.
Some points that need work, as all defenders this old do.
The odometer cable will need replacing, as it does play up sometimes on the speedo.
Rear doors have suffered corrosion, still function exactly as they should but will need changing in the next few years. I have both rear door replacements already they just need a coat of paint. I also have the paint for the doors matched and good to go.
Some of the electric accessories will need reconnecting, the Anderson power socket, rear work light and two front flood lights on the bull bar are all disconnected at this point in time.
All in all a brilliant runner, starts every time and is very reliable. The underside is very solid, having been waxoyled and treated before I bought it. I also had some welding work done under the drivers pedals to remove a rusted panel but it's all replaced and solid now. And will be for years and years.
The interior is pretty much luxury for a Defender! Very comfortable seats and charger ports etc for long journeys. I've done 10-15 hour journeys in this vehicle and I've got out the other end with no back ache at all. And the car did brilliantly on the longer journeys.
In summary you can see I've been honest and Shown good and bad points about the Landy. Obviously it isn't a pristine 2016 model, and it has chips and one or two dents here and there. But the car has character and a lot of history. And for it's age/mileage/what it's been used for it's in great condition.
The price reflects the work needing done and it's an absolute steal. Good luck.
I absolutely love the car and if you decide to purchase it it will definitely serve you well. No matter what role it's needed for. Will be sorely missed but it's done the job I needed it for.
Any questions please feel free to ask.

Land Rover Series 1 LWB Pickup 107 Project * NEW CHASSIS * V5 present * COMPLETE
Sellers Comments/Entry Welcome to this auction for a Series 1 107 Cab restoration project. The Series 1 is complete but it has been stripped down to a rolling chassis and the body panels are boxed up in good overall condition. The engine, gearbox and steering are all present. The engine turns and has compression but has not been fired up for some time. An unblemished V5 with original registration is present. This Landy has at some stage in its life been transformed into a 109 however the VIN no. confirms this was originally a 107. As you can see from the photos it has a rotten chassis but an opportunity to return it to a 107 is made possible by a refurbished fully galavanised 107" chassis imported from Australia. This auction is for the complete project, the chassis is NOT available to buy separately. Viewing is possible by prior appointment only near King's Lynn in Norfolk. More photos are available on request if required. Serious enquiries only, no time wasters please.

1950 LAND ROVER SERIES 1 *EXCEPTIONAL EXAMPLE*
Sellers Comments his is my lovely series one and as a Series one Owners Club Member I have enjoyed driving and attending rallies in her. She is kept in a heated Garage away from the elements. Have seen lots of these on eBay described as original when they are in fact no more than an over restored collection of Land Rover spares with an old Chassis number, This is an opportunity to acquire a genuine example which can be enjoyed as it is or sympathetically restored to perfection. Registration is original issued 3rd May 1950 in Northern Ireland and imported back to England on 9th Jan 1951. (R0611-0746) I have the original R.F. 60 Registration Book. Heritage Trust Certificate and lots of invoices This vehicle has its original 1949 1.6 petrol engine (Number 06110998) which starts 1st time every time. Chassis has some repairs as they all do if original, the bulkhead is superb with no corrosion. Started life as a blue Pickup but obviously repainted over the years. I have replaced various items on this Vehicle which were worn out or unserviceable such as the seat bases, Canvas door flaps and Tilt but I Have all of the original parts boxed up and these will go with the Vehicle.

Land Rover Series 2A SWB 1963 2.25 Petrol 12 Months MOT - Tax Exempt
Sellers Comments First registered on 18th March 1963 it has a new 12 month MOT (expires 26 Feb 18) and is tax exempt due to its age. Starts, runs and stops well. Someone has fitted a brake servo at some point which no doubt helps with stopping! Bought by me in 2010 with the intention of gradually improving it, I've done a few things to it but don't now have the time to carry on with it, so it's time to pass it on to someone else. Fairey Overdrive Towball Heated Front Screens 'simonbbc' Electronic Ignition Optima Red Top battery (really impressed with this) New Exmoor Trim seats Recent new brake and clutch master cylinders It has the front appearance of a late Series 2A but I have all (or virtually all) of the parts required to turn it back to its original appearance. I also have the hood sticks and almost new canvas tilt to turn it into a soft top if required. Please see the photos - all these items are available by separate negotiation and will be offered to the winning bidder. If not wanted they will be auctioned separately later. It needed a bit of work for its MOT - some welding to the nearside leaf spring mounting and new headlamps and wiring to the rear lamps and tow socket. There were several advisories on the MOT - some slight play to the offside front wheel bearing, offside central chassis outrigger corroded and a note that the tyres are starting to perish. Other bits that you need to be aware of - as you can see from the photos it would benefit from a repaint, there are freewheeling hubs on the front, but one of them is stuck, the speedometer overreads wildly, there is some corrosion to the bottom of the door frames below the bottom hinges, and in the outer end of the nearside footwell. I've tried to show the detail in the photos, but let me know if you need more pictures. Aside from that I think it's all fine, or as fine as a 54-year old Land Rover tends to be. Very usable as it is, or could form the basis of a gradual rolling restoration. There is no reserve, and no buy it now price - to be fair to all bidders I will let the auction run to its end. Payment by Paypal within 24 hours of auction end please, or cash on collection from Haslemere, Surrey.
