The Land Rover Defender is an off-road vehicle produced under this name by the British manufacturer, Land Rover, since 1991. However, the vehicle is the direct heir of the first Land Rover that made its debut in 1948. The first prototype was built by the British automaker in 1947 and it was designed for the army. This iconic car was improved over the years and it has been known for generations as a national treasure.

Land Rover Defender TDCI 110 Double Cab 2.4 litre Puma, 2008, 50k miles
Sellers Comments -Land Rover Defender TDCI Double Cab first registered June 2008,
2.4 litre Puma Engine, 50,398 miles.
I've owned this truck since March 2013 and had it maintained by a Land Rover specialist garage regardless of cost.
Serviced every year, last service was 16/09/2021 at 48,135 miles,
Mot 18/08/2022 but I will put a whole year on for the buyer prior to collection.
Please note that this is not an immaculate 'Chelsea Tractor' it has been modified for use as a shoot vehicle, both on our own little farm shoot and on other shoots that I beat and pick up on. It has been used to pull a trailer and carry ladders across fields and up farm tracks as part of my volunteer work for the Wildlife Trust as a Barn Owl monitor and as a part time fence erector.
It's a very solid and reliable truck but it does have the odd battle scar from overgrown hedges, with a bit of missing paint and the odd dent, although nothing serious.
The back seats have been removed to make room for dogs beds / cages so that the rear load space can be fully utilised. I have also disabled the central locking on the rear doors for my dogs safety, but this can be easily reconnected.

Rear floor and footwell have been lined with rubber matting to allow for sticks and gunslips to be transported in the footwell out of sight and kept dry.

The seats are fitted on raised runners to allow them to be pushed back further, giving loads of legroom.

PLEASE NOTE
The vehicle was purchased from MX 4x4 salvage in 2013 when it was registered as Stolen / Recovered - Cat D
Basically it was stolen and stripped of doors, roof, bonnet, wheels and the XS leather interior so the salvage yard replaced the missing parts from their second hand stock, all except the bonnet which I think was new.
The mileage when I bought the truck in March 2013, showed just over 17,100 miles with the MOT certificate issued on 04/01/2013 showing 16622.
I cannot guarantee that this mileage is genuine as it came from a salvage company who issue a disclaimer that recorded mileage may not be correct on any of their vehicle sales, but I have no reason to believe it was not genuine and I can guarantee the mileage covered over the last nine years with with all service and MOT certificates during my ownership at 33k.
Over the nine years of my ownership I have replaced most of the used parts with new, all except for the front doors and the roof. These panels were poorly prepared before painting and now show the original colour around the edges. The rear doors are from a 2013 truck which I had professionally prepared and sprayed in the correct Stornaway Grey.
Viewings, Test Drives and Third Party inspections, welcomed and recommended. I want buyers to be happy with what they're getting.
