Sellers Comments - A very reluctant sale of our Land Rover Defender 110 TD5 (12 Seater).
It comes with full service history since day 1, including receipt of purchase from Land Rover. It has every single piece of work documented that's been done to it since day 1 including MOT history, services and all repairs. We have an entire folder dedicated to all the work that's been done and can show you through everything should you wish to see the extent of work completed. Fortunately the previous owner documented and kept every single receipt, as did we so the new owner has piece of mind in terms of what's been completed/upgraded.
We've owned it for 5 years and have spent just shy of £10,000 on it (with receipts to prove).
It recent years it's had;
- New headgasket
- New LOF Powerspec clutch and flywheel (only done 2000 miles since fitting)
- New rear crossmember and outriggers
- Full engine service
- New injector harness
- New front and rear propshafts
- New injector seals
- Power steering pump, water pump and crank shaft pullys
In addition, it's had:
- 4 X Maxxis BigHorn tyres
- TD5 Inside Remap
- Snorkel
- EGR Delete
- Silicon hoses
- Straight through exhaust (with rear silencer)
- Spacers
- LED headlights
- Front and rear LED lightbars
- Steering guard and front recovery shackles
- Chassis steam clean and Lanoguard protection applied
- New front bumper with LED daylight running lights
It's a 1999 (T Reg), 10p TD5 on 207,000. It goes better now than it ever did with all the work it's had done. It's used daily (has never ever once let us down in the 5 years we've had it) so will go up slightly over the coming months.
Interior is in very good condition and has had sound deadening applied and an upgraded sound system. Britpart covers on all seats.
MOT until 18th August 2022.
A reluctant sale but relocation to a City means our Defender is no longer practical for us.
A genuine, well looked after example with the most extensive service and repair history I've seen.
The Land Rover Defender is an off-road vehicle produced under this name by the British manufacturer, Land Rover, since 1991. However, the vehicle is the direct heir of the first Land Rover that made its debut in 1948. The first prototype was built by the British automaker in 1947 and it was designed for the army. This iconic car was improved over the years and it has been known for generations as a national treasure.
