Classics - Land Rover series one 80 - 1952 - For Sale

 This 1952 land rover 80" has had a full rebuild. Finished in Deep Bronze green inside and out.

Chassis has been shot blasted, repaired and painted, rebushed

The bulkhead is the rare aluminium type which was fitted to this model year when the factory press broke.

The gearbox and axles have had full rebuilds including new swivel balls and bearings.

New wiring harness and lights. New dynamo and regulator.

New brake master cylinder, wheel cylinders, shoes and pipes.

New cooling system with hoses and recored radiator.

Five new 600-16 bar grip tyres on correct 5 inch steel rims

New Exmoor Trim hood, hood sticks and green vinyl seats.

The door tops have been refurbished with new runners and perspex

The engine is not the original, but correct to the model year.

It has had a Rover 60 head fitted for more performance, long with SU carb with a free flow air filter.

The engine has been carefully checked and new timing chain fitted, head gasket, and valves have been replaced. It also benefits from a spin on oil filter conversion, which replaces the flow thought filter, to aid with easy of servicing.

like any restoration of this nature, there are also a great number of parts that have been replaced which there are too many to list.

It is sold with an MOT  MAY2019

The registration plate is oringal and is transferable. 

comes with buff logbook and first MOT photos of how i found it.  history is that is was  original bought by the ministry of supply then given to the welsh forestry commission
