1986 Genuine Factory Land Rover 90 V8 3.5L County Station Wagon

Sellers Comments -
I have for sale my very rare factory Land Rover 90 V8 3.5L County Station Wagon. This is a genuine 90 V8 CSW verified by the VIN and logbook and is one of the first 90 V8's. The vehicle is totally original and has is when it left the factory. All the numbers match up that is chassis number, engine number, ViN and logbook.
There are hardly any of these for sale these days.
I bought it recently has a project to do up but at the moment its sat on my driveway not doing much and I feel I'm not going to have the time to commit to it. I occasionally start the engine up to keep the battery charged. I've started by removing the headlights to replace the rotted light bowls and changed the spark plugs; that's as far as I got.
Please be aware this is a project and has no MOT. It will need to be trailered away.

Some info:

- Low mileage at 89,690. This looks genuine going through the past MOT history.
- Power steering.
- New spark plugs fitted a few weeks ago.
- All headlining and window trim present.
- Cubby box.
- Outer panels look fairly straight with a dent to one of the wings.
- Chassis is solid. Outriggers are solid. Rear cross member is starting to get rusty but still has some years of use. There are two weld patches to the chassis.
- Bulkhead ends have been replaced.
- New Battery.
- County side stripes.
- Engine runs and drives. The original Stromberg carbs needs tuning as fuel is running a bit rich. Choke needs to be used on cold days but when the air ambient is warm, the engine starts on the button.
- 5 speed gearbox and all gears select well without any crunching. Clutch is good but the input shaft bearing is noisy when clutch pedal is not depressed. When the pedal is pressed, the noise disappears.
- Brakes need looking at as a bit spongy but they still work. May just need bleeding.
- Original interior. However there is damage to the drivers foam base and there is a missing rear seat base as shown in the pictures.
- Footwells are starting to look tired and are rusty but no nasty holes.
- Passenger side bottom door pillar has a small hole.
- Comes with the original 5 off  Rostyle wheels and set of Freestyle alloys.
- Load of receipts and old MOT certificates.
- V5 in my name.
- One key.
- Exportable to the US.

All in all a very nice and super rare 90 V8 CSW that needs a bit of TLC for MOT and would be great for a collector once done up.
I can assist for export as I reside in Southampton and close to the docks.

Now the boring bits. Please no timewasters or know it all's. I've dealt with a load of timewasters in the past and if you don't have the funds please do not bid and move on.
I know there are many genuine people out there so please don't spoil the auction for them. I will require a £300 non refundable deposit to be paid immediately after end of auction and the remaining cash on collection or instant bank transfer. No paypal please. If you cannot pay a deposit then do not bid.
Also please no silly offers as I know what it's worth. Fully restored are going for £15k and there's another outside ebay listed at £30k.
Timewasters and tyre kickers will be reported to Ebay. Also please don't come and haggle the price down when the auction has ended. Whatever it goes for is the price you will have to pay so I welcome viewings before end of auction to avoid disappointment.
Please do your own checks to satisfy your needs.
I'm happy to assist in transportation if you live a million miles away.
This is a private sale so the landy is strictly sold as seen.
