This is a very tidy example of a Defender 90 TDi, with excellent gearbox, chassis, bulkhead and running gear.

Solid Chassis with only light surface rust - no signs of any welding

1974 LAND ROVER SERIES 3, 88", 2.25 4Cyl Petrol (Historic - Tax exempt)

Selling my very original and tax exempt 1974 Series 3 Land Rover 2.25 Petrol 88" with hardtop, a particularly honest & unmolested vehicle which is standard apart from the modular wheels & tyres. If you like genuine patina then you will definitely like this, still wearing its original paint and panels with the minor scuffs, marks, fading (see bonnet & n/s front wing) and dents you'd expect after 42 years of use. Mot'd in January 2016 it has a good solid chassis but is not without faults - one corner brace is missing & a couple of holes are visible where the fuel tank mounts bolt on. Detailed inspection might find other areas of weakness but it seems good and solid to me. There is a very small hole on the bulkhead below the passenger lower door hinge (see pics) but the rest is good and solid. I would say this drives pretty well for a Series and is great fun, to me at least... It goes in a straight line without too much play at the wheel, did stop OK for what it is (an early S3 so 10" brakes and no servo) after I replaced the linings all round, plus 2 new front wheel cylinders and lines BUT the pedal is requiring a pump or two again so it does need a new master cylinder. The engine performs fine and the last owner fitted a new Zenith 36 IV carburettor which might still benefit from a touch more fine-tuning, but it starts reliably and runs well when warmed up. There is also a recent new fuel pump. Goes into & out of 4WD as it should & the gearbox works well.

Its a 1969 model, rover 3.5s V8 engine. Runs smoothly and no tappet noise. Custom made 4 branch Hedman Headers which are joined to a substantial exhaust that has a nice note. New seats in rear and front-seats recovered. New door tops. Finished in NATO green, i am sure you will agree she is easy on the eye. Pioneer kit fitted to rear. Brand new spare wheel fitted on bonnet. All tyres in very good condition. Also the original headlights will be included in this sale. 1 years MOT with no advisories. No rotten chassis!

Land Rover series 2a 200tdi overdrive . 12 months mot TAX EXEMPT

Sellers Comments - welcome to the sale of my series 2a swb land rover. this little landy has been fitted with a 200tdi and an overdrive . this was done by the previous owner.as can be seen in the photos this is a nice looking truck . the original colour was green and rough looking. so it was finished in light blue with limestone . it has original mats fitted in the cab and a rubber liner in the rear. new lights have been fitted to front and rear. its on original wheels with original tyres . new mud flaps fitted to the rear. the landy has mot until 11 august 2017. speedo reads 8372 miles . I am waiting for the v5c to arrive from dvla as it was sent in when I bought it. but I do have the new keeper part for it. so this can be used to tax it. Beautifully restored several years ago. This is an extremely rare opportunity to acquire an incredibly rare, handsome, early restored Cuthbertson Land Rover®. It is the only one known to us currently residing in the UK - it is also a very early example from 1959 - a genuine Series 2 with twist type vent openers and stalk mounted horn.
