Land Rover Defender 90 200tdi. 1993 FOR SALE Unfinished restoration project Modifications - 2" Suspension lift, Mud terrain tires all round, Rock sliders, Heavy duty off road bumper, Winch (only been used a few times) Steering guard, Raised wheel arches and Performance intercooler. Registered with four seats, three in front and one in rear. I'm going to be honest as can be seen in the pictures, there is damage to the defender; It was a utility 4x4 but I rolled it at low speed in 2011. I then took roof, doors and sides off it. I had the chassis check by local 4x4 specialist, it was fine and the only damage underneath was a bend steering bar. I started restoring the truck, fitted new steering bar but it still needs tracking. I bought a new suspension turret as one needed replacing but never got round to fitting. The 90 did start first time, I used to drive up and down my lane every few weeks. This has not been clamed on insurance and therefore it's not written off, or has any registered category damage. I have not had the landy going for a few mouths as the battery is flat, the brakes will probably need releasing as it's been stationary. It will need to be recovered or towed upon collection. I'm selling, as I no longer have the time to restore the land rover, this truck was my first vehicle when I was 17 and I rolled it in a under few month of buying. This was a beast of land rover, therefore I would like to sell to someone who is keen to restore it to its original form. As it's a brilliant truck and even through it missing the roof, it still has loads of potential. No MOT and currently SORN, so no tax. Viewing welcome, North Powys, Mid Wales. Thanks.

You are looking at a cheap and cheerful Landrover Defender 90 Td, first registered on 15/01/1990. The chassis, bulkhead and rear crossmember are all good and strong. It starts, drives and stops and comes with a long mot. It looks very presentable and is priced to sell. For Sale 1972 LAND ROVER 90

Landrover V8 Highbrid Range Rover Based with 3.5 V8 engine on carbs Taxed Exempted, MOT May 2014 Shortened Range Rover Chassis with coil springs and discs all round, power steering, 3.5 v8 engine.
Landrover 90/defender bulkhead and doors,series tub,rear door, roof and windscreen. Landrover 90/defender dash and instruments, button start. Landrover Cobra bucket sear, 90/defender middle,passenger seat(torn on back ,i have replaced the base cover) Mountey steering wheel, 4 speed box, Rear tub/door checker platered,rear bench seat.
previous owner had it for over 8 years and had used it for towing his speed boat to the lake district so hasnt been used for offroading over this time, i have been using this for my daily driver and has proven to be realiable although a little thirsty!! it also comes with a spare set of conway MT track half worn set of 5 ,Please bear in ,mind this is not a new truck and is forty years old!,does drop an odd spot of oil here and there (as all Landrovers of this age)but have new gaskets/seals to fix that will come with it, just had new handbrake shoes ,its great to drive and gets comments/looks wear ever it goes! Im not an expert on landys but please email any questions you have and feel free to come and have a look so you know what your bidding on.
i have just fitted a list off things in the last two months as i have bought it from a local seller, due to not having any more time to finish i have bitten off more than i can chew as i have my scooby as an ongoing project,
things i have replaced , reconed steering box as this packed up the week i got it, i rebuilt the drag link at the same time.
the distributor packed up as well so i have put a new dizzy , coil, and amplifier on ,
i replaced the front and rear suspension with the gaz 2 inch lift kit wit new poly bushes , new camber arms, new front galvanised strut turrets, also replaced the rear axle input seal as it was leaking badly,
it does want work for its next mot , you would be better coming to mull it over but it runs and drives so you can use it while repairing, wants a little bit off welding here and there not much, the wiring is functional but needs tidying , the chassis needs painting i have done it in places but its a timely job lol,
the only other negative is the front swivel joints need doing they are pitted and leaking , this was my next job its around £140 for the parts and the rest is your labour i have a manual and they arnt bad too replace.
please no messers if you want a project thats in progress and you can drive then this is for you but believe me its not a rolls royce its 40 years old and wants much love
