
The Land Rover Defender is an off-road vehicle produced under this name by the British manufacturer, Land Rover, since 1991. However, the vehicle is the direct heir of the first Land Rover that made its debut in 1948. The first prototype was built by the British automaker in 1947 and it was designed for the army. This iconic car was improved over the years and it has been known for generations as a national treasure.

Sellers Comments Land Rover Series III Lightweight Full FFR With Radio Operators Table 1980 Almost as it was de-mobbed apart from the addition of freewheel front hubs. Has radio operators sliding table in back and a battery box cover (no battery cradle). Fully kitted rear tub for five radio stations on the transverse radio operators table. Some 24v wiring will be left in place. Transverse dexion racking in place and also near side dexion racking with 2 additional backpack clip-in radio facilities. MOT due to expire next month, currently on a SORN. Comes with a brand new bulk head vent panel. There is a Fairy Overdrive available for this vehicle, Overdrive is in excellent condition, was fitted to this vehicle. Chassis looks to be good for another MOT. There is also available AT EXTRA COST a full hard-top conversion i.e. two sides, roof panel and lift up rear door.
