The Land Rover Defender is an off-road vehicle produced under this name by the British manufacturer, Land Rover, since 1991. However, the vehicle is the direct heir of the first Land Rover that made its debut in 1948. The first prototype was built by the British automaker in 1947 and it was designed for the army. This iconic car was improved over the years and it has been known for generations as a national treasure.

1960 Series II SWB Land Rover 2 1/4 Diesel Tax exempt 12 months MOT (advisory on MOT - cracked side walls on tyres and slight steering play) Just serviced - new oil and filters, all levels checked and everything lubricated Comprehensive rebuild by former owner on to galvanised chassis (last two pics) between 2004 and 2008 Reconditioned engine and all syncro gearbox Alternator conversion New wiring loom New radiator Halogen headlamps New fuel tank New brake pipes and parts Axle straps and bump stops All parts replaced as required, lots of receipts to prove.
