The Land Rover Defender is an off-road vehicle produced under this name by the British manufacturer, Land Rover, since 1991. However, the vehicle is the direct heir of the first Land Rover that made its debut in 1948. The first prototype was built by the British automaker in 1947 and it was designed for the army. This iconic car was improved over the years and it has been known for generations as a national treasure.

1956 Series 1, Original registration but not transferable. Tax exempt, MOT exempt 300 TDi engine, new cambelt, water pump, electric engine fan Rocky Mountain parabolic springs & shock absorber kit 2A gearbox ?, has an oil leak, (no snychro on 1st & 2nd) has new clutch, slave and master cylinders. Salisbury rear axle, possibly 2A front axle, twin leading shoes. Remote brake servo. Copper brake pipes. Excellent chassis, good bulk head Oil leak on steering box. Truck cab roof and back lined. New sliding windows and channels. 2A fuel tank. 90 seats T7 kit car heater.
