The Land Rover Defender is an off-road vehicle produced under this name by the British manufacturer, Land Rover, since 1991. However, the vehicle is the direct heir of the first Land Rover that made its debut in 1948. The first prototype was built by the British automaker in 1947 and it was designed for the army. This iconic car was improved over the years and it has been known for generations as a national treasure.

1972 Land Rover - reasonable condition for age of vehicle it is 42 years old - Location Slough
1972 land rover, runs and drives well,petrol,2 and 1/4 engine. Needs a little bit of work. Its ideal for someone who likes playing around with old projects. Has some spare parts in it to go with the land rover. It has free wheeling hubs, also has good condition seats which is rare for a land rover. And I also have wing tops, seal strips and floor plates. Will put images of them up too. Starts a low price of £1500 will take sensible offer, advertised elsewhere so may end early. Viewing recommended at anytime
