LAND ROVER LR 90 4C SW , genuine early station wagon 2.8 Iveco TD

Sellers Comments - One of first Land Rover 90's registered 1st of July 1984, Proper station wagon, galvanised cappings lift up door handles etc. Bought this at end of summer and it has just been sitting in my drive. MOT expired end of January and on a quick look it will need some welding for next one. NS passenger bulkhead outrigger will need a patch and it will need patching on top of chassis at drivers side at A frame crossmember (I has poking at a muddy bit and made a big hole). All previous mots are available on line, I dont think there were any advisories on last one. Doors, bulkhead etc are all sound. New big battery. Fitted with an Iveco 2.8 turbo deisel intercooled engine (smoky when cold but clears when warm, a trait of this kind of engine), pulls very well. Also fitted with snorkel, diff guards, tank guard and steering guard. New military spec galv front bumbper, the A bar is not attached but comes with it, couldnt decide whether to paint it or have it galvanised. Light bar on roof, expensive swing away spare wheel carrier. Has approx 2" lift and I think shocks ar de carbon. There is an air asist kit fitted on rear, but compressor ist connected (you can see hese on Paddocks website). Goodridge brake hoses, adjustable height tow hitch etc etc. Only reason I am selling as I dont really have time for this and my Series 2 and my series 2 has been around a lot longer. I am in Tayport, Fife, Scotland and viewing is recommended before making an offer. Deposit of £100 by paypal and balance on collection

1975 Land Rover Series 3 109 *Ex Royal Navy*

Sellers Comments - 1975 Land Rover 109 Ex Royal Navy (soon to be tax exempt) This vehicle seems to have been a working Navy vehicle, possibly a fire tender of some type. This is a fantastic vehicle. It is currently MOT'ed and running. The head gasket has been replaced and the head has been fully reworked, with new valves and guides and stem seals. A new water pump has also been fitted. It does however require the deisel pump setting up as it smokes. There have been a few repairs on the chassis, but no major rust. The front wheel bearings have been replaced along with new drive flanges. The interior has been put back to standard after so terrible seats where installed as well as loads of carpet which has been removed. All the electrics have been sorted and work well. There will be a small box of parts to go along with the vehicle.

Land Rover Series 3 1972 petrol 2.25 litre

Sellers Comments - Bought this vehicle in 2004 from an enthusiast, little used since on my paddocks. Originally diesel, not known when converted. Previous owner fitted a reconditioned 5 bearing engine with 36000 miles on the clock. I doubt it have done 500 miles in last 12 years. It is maddeningly a non-runner at present despite having a new electronic distributor fitted recently. I suspect the problem is in low tension or solenoid. NO MOT so will have to be towed or trailered away. Previous owner put on a half chassis, new foot wells, dumb irons ,outriggers, parabolic springs, brakes, large wheels (no spare), steering damper, freewheeling hubs and QT diff guards front and rear, Rebel steering guard, set of Series 3 Rocksliders/jackable sills, K & N air filter. I have fitted in the last few years a new Zenith carb, Bosch battery, exhaust, petrol pump, starter, Powermax Electronic distributor and coil, top half of driver's door. In the back it has 2 jerry can holders and a military tool box. Unfitted over drive. Tall lever jack included with sundry spare parts eg light stalk, Haynes Service and Repair and Restoration manuals included. Reasons for selling : so little use, moving house and age (mine)

Land Rover Series 2a 1967

Sellers Comments - We purchased "Audrey" in 2010 as a project classic for me and my then teenage daughter to have some fun with. Sadly now she is in her second year at University and does not have time to spend, so after many adventures and good times, not to mention a small fortune, it is time to pass her on. I will list as many parts as I can remember starting with the first items replaced and working my way up yo date.. here goes.. Fuel tank, completely re-built front axle and steering balls, exhaust, A-panels, floor panels/lower bulk head (see pictures), rebuilt 2.5 petrol defender engine, clutch, both props, brakes all round including drums, alternator conversion, halogen headlamps, electronic ignition, starter motor, steering relay, front chassis repairs, five new wheels and all terrain tyres, respray in satin olive...pause for breath.. new shocks, track rod ends, internal usb sockets x 2 for sat nav etc, Range Rover Classic diffs plus loads of bits and bobs that I cant remember. She runs perfect and has never let me down, cruises with modern traffic, about 60mph all day, has modern seats with Land Rover covers and runs on parabolic springs. Now, she is 49 years old and like me is showing expected wear and tear and has been kept with safety, reliability and performance in mind. We have been to several club rallies, including a 400 mile weekend to Fakenham Race coarse last year for the annual club get together with no issues, that said she is an old classic so please know what you are about to own before you bid. She looks clean and presentable with minor dents, the internal roof has had a lining removed so shows glue etc and the cab is used by me and the dogs but still clean enough, needs a weekend spent tidying but has been like that for many years. Please ask as many question as you need and yes I do have loads of photos over the years if you would like any shots in particular. I have, as you can see, spent a small fortune but I can honestly say she's been worth every penny and we will all miss her. If I had proper off road storage she would not be for sale. Tax free, and only about £100 to insure with Lancaster who have given her an agreed valuation of £6500 so grab an absolute bargain of an appreciating usable 4x4 classic before I change my mind. Please only bid to buy and yes, you are welcome to come and take a look, good luck.

Land Rover 109" Series 3 Diesel.

Sellers Comments - this 109" has years of use still in her. Went through the mot in december with no advisorys :-) The engine starts 1st time with no rattle or humms, and sounds as sweet as they come. Both the bulkhead and the chassis are in good condition, the two bulkhead outriggers have been replaced and are not original to this vehicle. The chassis, springs & axles have been wax-oyled. The cab has had a little refurb with new Delux seats and matting. The indicator and side light lenses had started to fade so were replaced prior to the mot,as were the wiper blades.. Both front door top's have been replaced with fully glased units. All the electrics..... lights, indicators, horn, wipers, blower work as they should. The tyres have 1000's of miles left in them and show no cracks or splits. Second gear does have the usial "whine" otherwise the transmission is v-good. The four wheel drive system engages.... and releases as it should. The steering is possitive and does not pull under braking. The back door has been painted at some point, and the near side lower panel has a slight scrape in the mid-ships, otherwise this landy has an overall clean bill of health. We know that this vehicle is from a private estate, and only has two owners. The speedo reading shows: 18,906 miles. (Dont know weather this is genuine or not) but I'm sure previous mot's can be checked. (I will go and see my local mot man).

Land Rover 101 / Defender Forward Control - Diesel - ready for work or play 1977

Sellers Comments- Land Rover 101 / Defender Forward Control - Diesel - ready for work or play. Land Rover 101 rebuilt to a very high standard in 2015 with lots of unique features and tons of new parts. This vehicle is reliable and easy to get parts for when needed [read on]. I have owned this 101 for the last 15 years. In this time it has only missed 1 Mot and this was only because I was working on it and it was under SORN at the time. It has been re-built as the base vehicle for an overland camper. Due to a change of plan the 101 is now for sale. The basic spec is 2.5 tdi Diesel with Power assisted steering, 5 speed gearbox, disc brakes on the front, rewired, re-engineered to get rid of the niggles that the standard 101 has. The 128 ltr fuel tank has a range of about 600 miles. The chassis has been stripped, repaired in a few places, repainted with an anti-rust paint, then red oxide paint, then black paint. It was then coated inside and out with lots of waxoil. There is no rust. The unique truck cab has been fabricated from aluminium with a big roll over bar built in and sprayed with 2K paint. It has been fully sound-insulated and carpeted and is comfortable on the motorway at 60mph, top speed is 70mph. The purpose-built cab doors are aluminium with full sized wind-down windows. It has been rewired throughout with relays and fuses and has new lights. It has refurbished Defender seats and, as a special feature, the drivers seat goes back further than normal to accommodate the taller driver. There is a cd/radio and 4 speakers. There is also a rear sliding door. The special 101 shaped dash-board houses the Defender clocks and turbo boost gauge. Windscreen glass is new. Engine: Land Rover 200 Tdi which breathes through the front mounted snorkel and a large Allisport intercooler, silicone hoses and a full stainless steel exhaust. To date the engine has done approx’ 110k miles of which 23k have been done by me in the 101. [I saw the doner Discovery that the engine came from, it had 87k on the clock]. The engine has recently had a new cam belt. It has a uprated recored radiator with an extra thick core and a Kenlowe cooling fan and also has a low water buzzer. The gearbox is new - it has an Ashcroft re-built uprated R380 5-speed gearbox with a front mounted oil cooler. The transfer box has an enlarged sump for extra cooling. The prop-shafts are new, heavy duty, with wide angle yokes. [No nasty prop rumble]. Power assisted steering is powered by an Adwest 4 bolt box (Defender/Discovery) with a heavy duty track rod. All steering joints have grease nipples. The leaf springs are mounted to the chassis with Polybushes throughout and shock absorbers are Terrafirma big bore expedition front and rear. The front axle is a re-built Land Rover Defender 110 front axle with vented discs brakes. It has an Ashcroft 4 pin diff and heavy duty half shafts and heavy duty drive flanges. The rear axle is a rebuilt Salisbury 110 rear axle with drum brakes, new pipes and flexible throughout. All wheels and tyres are new. Cooper STT 315/75 r16 on black 8” Modular rims. Unique stainless steel wheel steps embossed with one 0 one. Locking wheel nuts. Head lights are Crystal halogen x 4 with left and right hand dips for if you go overseas. Main beam is all 4 lights. Front bull bar also holds 2 jerry cans. The 101 comes with 2 new unused spare tyres and approx’ £1000 worth of spare parts to keep the truck on the road. Feel free to ask questions and come and look at this unique vehicle in the flesh. I will take you for a drive and give you the opportunity to see how special it is. Vehicle is in Nottingham, NG9.

Sellers Comments - For sale is my Land Rover series 3 lightweight 24V  LHD, two and a quater diesel ex-Dutch Army. I have owned it for the last three years, has been stored in garage. It is very original and has no rot on chassie. Long MOT. Five new tyres. New shocks all round a year ago. New seats all round. Everything works as it should. Great fun. Hard to find in this original condition. Could do with a paint, have original Dutch paint to do this but personally think it looks good the way it is. Landrover Series 3 - 1986

1986 Series 3 Landrover. Petrol 2.3 With Overdrive.

Sellers Comments - This Landy was partly restored 4/5 years ago. It has over drive and larger than normal tyres (Which is partly why the mileage shows low). It also has a manual throttle operator as well as the normal pedal. 2 Bench seats are fitted either side in the rear cabin.

It's in fairly good condition throughout but as with any old landy she has the odd oil leak, dents, etc.

She needs a new heater blower (I can include one) and doesn't have a spare tyre.

Recently it has had new rear springs, water pump, battery, alternator. Chassis has had various plates in the usual weak spots. Past few years bill are available with it. Ticks over really well and drives well (for a Landy).

Supplied new by Colliers Land Rover in August 1991, this Westminster Grey Range Rover is a superb example of the marque.

SERVICE HISTORY
Sold with the original Land Rover folder with all owners manuals, service book stamped exclusively by Land Rover main dealers, old MOT certificates, invoices for nearly £6k in the last 12 months, and the original Range Rover sales brochure.

-       Service book: fully stamped, all by Land Rover main dealers
-       Last service: 250 miles ago by Guy Salmon Ascot Land Rover
-       MOT: to June 2016 (no advisories)
-       Mileage: 63k
-       Previous Owners: 2

Also included are two sets of keys (with original supplying dealer keyrings), a Heritage certificate from the British Motor Industry Centre (BMIC) confirming its original build details.

INTERIOR
Being a Vogue SE, the car is highly equipped including electric heated seats, air conditioning, sunroof, heated front & rear screens, four electric windows, etc.

All of these work…a rarity on a ‘90’s Range Rover!

The grey leather seats, door trims and carpets are all in excellent condition as is the head-lining.

The original Land Rover stereo, Land Rover tool wrap, etc, are all present.

EXTERIOR
The Westminster Grey paintwork has a great depth of shine, with minor age-related stone chips, etc.
The alloys are in excellent condition having recently been refurbished along with four brand new Goodyear Wrangler tyres.

The upper and lower tailgates are in excellent order, including fully operational rear wash wipe, and locking.

All glass appears to be original, along with the original dealer-supplied number plates and light guards front and rear.

MECHANICAL & DRIVING
The car tracks and drives extremely well – indeed it has completed a number of longer journeys with us in style. The gearbox changes smoothly and without hesitation, the high and low gears all work along with kick-down.
SUMMARY
An exceptional example of an unusual Range Rover Classic with an unusually comprehensive Land Rover service history, extremely low mileage and long-term ownership. In stunning condition with significant sums recently spent.

These ‘90’s Vogues are rapidly gathering momentum in price to follow the earlier two-door classics and this particular year benefits from fewer complexities than the later soft-dash, air-sprung models.

If you are looking for an extremely original ‘90’s Vogue SE in the right colour combination with an excellent provenance they don’t get much better than this…

Land Rover series 2A 1965 TAX EXEMPT For Sale £7600

Sellers Comments - IVOR) the Land Rover is in great shape for 65 landy. He was refurbished before we purchased (not restored) we looked for a long time to find a pretty looking land rover, that was useable . There's a lot of rubbish ones out there and there are some stunning show examples, I would like to think ours is priced accordingly to its condition. Bodywork- the car was painted last august in coach enamel back to original colour, its not perfect but never the less looks lovely just how a Land Rover should. The worst parts are some panels have some runs in the paint, but this didn't bother us as it really looks lovely. There is no rot at all and has had new door tops, it has had new corner pieces in the top of the bulk head, the roof is also painted in coach enamel as are the wheels in the limestone colour. The engine we believe is out of a series 3 Land Rover, which makes a far nicer drive it changes gear beautifully and currently does a 25 mile round trip most days, will sit happily at 50mph, it had a full service before we purchased it and went to a dyno tuning centre to be set up correctly. The speedo currently shows 28000 miles? It has free wheeling hubs up front, and has just had the brakes completely refurbished and stops great ! It has 2" risers on the rear so its rear doesn't sit down has the wider LWB wheels The chassis has typically had some patching and new outriggers on the front, but has benefited from a new 3 quarter chassis back replacement, it has been fully painted black underneath Interior has all been carpeted front and rear, new rubber mats and brand new seats all with three point seat belts, you will also see from one of the photos the original plate from when the Land Rover was made.

Land Rover V8 SWB

Sellers Comments - This auction is for my V8 SWB Land Rover. This is a Series 3 model which had a later conversion to a 3.5l V8. I believe the engine came from a Discovery or Range Rover. I bought it 4 years ago in Devon. I have done little mileage in it - a few short trips in green lanes. The longest drive was about 100 miles to bring it up to Bristol. I imagine I have done less than 500 miles the whole time I've had it. The gearbox is a series 2A, as the previous owner wanted to have the strongest (reputedly) box to handle the extra power. The V8 conversion was done professionally so has the correct linkages. The cab is detachable. I have a few nuts and bolt for that. Now for the bad bits: it started misfiring about 6 months ago, and despite my attempts to rectify it (fuel filter, plugs, distributor cap, leads etc), it still doesn't want to run smoothly. The local garage said apart from possible mechanical issues, some sub-frame welding would be needed to get it through an MOT. So in a nutshell, this is a project for someone who has the time and motivation to get her going again.. When she goes, she has heaps of power, and well...goes anywhere, and sounds great So, because I don't use it, it's got to go. It is SORNed and standing at the local garage. If you want to view it, you'll have to let me know, and we'll meet there. Unfortunately the garage won't allow potential buyers to arrive without me there. For the right person, this is a great project that when finished will give you a serious bit of off-road kit - happy bidding.

Range Rover Vogue 3.5 V8 Classic

Sellers Comments - Range Rover Vogue Classic in an amazing colour.
Lived in Jersey until 3 years ago hence the low mileage and great condition including the chassis as they didn't salt the roads over there.
Quite a bit of history helping to back up the mileage (was only doing 2-3k per year in Jersey).
It really is a great example and a sought after spec of an appreciating classic.  I've seen these 4 doors sell for £30k+
  • Extremely low mileage of 59,402 miles.
  • The most eye-catching and appealing colour they made them in.
  • Cloth interior is in great condition - and much more user friendly and easier to live with than the leather.
  • Full MOT just issued with no advisories.
  • Not long since it was serviced.
  • Everything works as it should - no electrical gremlins.
  • Drives faultlessly well and very smooth.
  • I also have original exhaust and rear parcel shelf in the garage.
  • Extremely original example
  • Original chassis extremely good condition and very solid throughout.
I can't really think of any bad points.  It has had a stereo upgrade at some point although originals can be purchased on eBay.  There are some areas with some paint bubbling and if I was to keep for many more years I would consider a quality re-spray (in the amazing original colour of course) at some point to bring back to it's true, former glory.  These don't really detract the overall look and feel of the car, and the painwork is decent especially for age-  although they are there.
As always, I would recommend you come and view the car if interested in buying.
Only reason for sale is I've got a Defender 110 XS ready for collection on 1 March 2016.
A desirable, fast appreciating classic that is totally reliable and can be enjoyed immediately.
