Land Rover Series 1 S.W.B. V8 Conversion, M.O.T. & Tax Exempt.

Sellers Notes
Here we have for sale a Series 1 Land Rover S.W.B. with a Rover V8 conversion, registered in 1955 and has been in the family since 1975. Its M.O.T. & Tax exempt, although we have just put it through an M.O.T. which now expires on the 9th February 2016, with the road fund licence expiring 1st March 2016. Although we have our Landy roadworthy it could do with having a total restoration to bring it back to its former splendour, which we unfortunately don't have the time of which it deserves.
Our Landy originated in Kings Lynn in Norfolk and that's where it has stayed ending up 10 miles north of Norwich near Aylsham some 60 years later, us having it for the majority of 40 years. The engine conversion was done some years ago professionally and has been regularly serviced & maintained whilst in our possession. Mechanically the vehicle is sound, apart from a intermediate exhaust pipe that needs replacing, its literately just gone in the last week and I have noticed it could do with a replacement heater hose as it has a slight bulge. Now we come to the tin work, underneath its pretty sound and over the years it has had some good work done to the chassis near the rear spring hangers, the bad points are that is requiring some attention to the bulkhead on the nearside plus the foot well, the foot wells have had some previous work that has been crudely done, lastly where the door hinges are situated we have had some work done there in the past in the way of plating, but it needs attention again.
If you wish to view or you have any questions reference the Landy before bidding by all means please get in touch through eBay.
Payment to be a bank transfer on winning the auction.
